Also in the edition for iPad are a video of orphan elephants in an African sanctuary, an interactive map of Roald Amundsen and Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s race to the South Pole in 1911 (along with archival footage from Amundsen’s expedition), and a then-and-now interactive comparison of a New Orleans street “”portrait”” shot in 2006 and then again in 2011.
