Fancy taking a bus ride in the air?
China has unveiled a new transport concept that allows you to fly over traffic. Transit Elevated Bus or TEB will be driven by electricity and solar power and so will be environmentally friendly. The new buses will be able to carry up to 1200 passengers at a time. “The bus has the same functions as the subway while its cost of construction is less than one fifth of the subway. Its construction can be completed in one year”

Bai Zhiming
Engineer in Charge of the project
Trials for the new initiative will begin near the end of 2016
Will this transform the way you travel around your city?
