Today I talk about why I think Aptera’s big promise of being the first “never charge” solar electric vehicle is more than just a convenience for EV owners–it’s actually a feature that will open up EVs to millions of people who currently don’t have an easy way to charge at home.

I’m genuinely excited for Aptera, and truly hope they can bring their vehicle to market as promised!

Aptera is expected to arrive in late 2021 or early 2022, and will compete with vehicles like the Vanderhall Edison, Electra Meccanica Solo, and the Nobe 100GT.
