Recently, people have been able to purchase “hoverboards” (albeit they’re just boards with wheels and thus don’t hover, but whatever), but there are some safety concerns. Apparently, they just keep exploding and catching fire. Technology has only come so far, I suppose. Anyway, today, I decided to strap on the ol’ steampunk goggles and take a closer look at these hoverboards, and see just why the damn things are on fire — and also why they’re spontaneously combusting!
