NASA’s INSANE Nuclear Rocket to Visit Mars IN DAYS

There are many reasons why humans have never explored Mars.
Let’s be quite honest, it isn’t going to be easy. Reaching the red planet, on average around 140 million miles away, will be a mammoth feat.

As you know, there may not be a bigger promoter of the idea that humanity should go to Mars than Elon Musk. But Musk is also in the news for admitting, though not for the first time, the truth about his dream: ” It’s uncomfortable. It’s a long journey, you might not come back alive.”

Currently, the shortest possible trip for an unmanned spacecraft is seven months, but a crewed mission is expected to take at least nine months. So, a long round-trip mission to Mars would last an astonishing 21 months. Nine months to get there, three months on the planet and another nine to get back.

Oh, there are plenty of challenges lurking in the deep reaches of space that make a journey to mars oh so difficult for SpaceX and humans. The longer it takes astronauts to get there and the longer they stay, the more they are at risk.
That’s why scientists are looking at ways to reduce trip time. There are a growing number of scientists who think getting to mars much faster is quite possible. Instead of 21 months, why not get to mars in only three days? So, how?
Let find out in this episode of SpaceX Fans:

Ever since the height of the space race, chemical rockets have been the most commonly used propulsion method in many ways. SpaceX and their rockets, especially the Starship look a lot like the old Saturn rockets that Americans took pride in during the early days of NASA. But SpaceX tech is far beyond anything NASA ever created. Starship spacecraft, powered by the Raptor engine – one of the first to be powered by methane and designed to be reused 1,000 times.
