#Elon Musk made the announcement of aiming to release its previously announced $25,000 electric car in 2023. The CEO commented that “Tesla will make a compelling $25,000 electric vehicle that is also fully autonomous”.
“This has always been our dream from the beginning of the company,” Musk said. “It was always our goal to try and make an affordable electric car.”
“The rate of progress in automotive affordability is simply not quick enough,” Musk further stated, accompanied by visual images of suffocating cities and statistics depicting the world’s rapid warming. Tesla’s business is focused on zero-emission electric automobiles, solar panels for power generation, and batteries for clean energy storage.
#Tesla showcased a number of battery innovations at the event, including a new cell design and a streamlined production process. According to the business, these enhancements will result in a 54 percent increase in battery range between charges and a 56 percent decrease in price per kilowatt-hour. And yes guys the new price point for the $25000 EV will be achieved through this new battery cell and battery manufacturing effort of Tesla.
