The recent International Panel on Climate Change report urges immediate action on climate change but also makes clear that ongoing efforts over many decades will be needed to stabilise the climate, avoid extreme weather events and save lives.

On This is Engineering Day, the second event in the Ask The Engineers series will explore and discuss green skills, what a sustainability-oriented education system could look like, and how engineers can be the difference on a global scale.

Meeting the COP26 ambition of making the world net zero by 2050 will require a new generation of engineers. How can young people help to achieve net zero emissions and how do engineers need to prepare and reskill?
