A Hoverboard is a self-balancing scooter (personal transporter) consisting of two motorized wheels connected to a self-balancing control mechanism using built-in gyroscope and a pair of articulated pads on which the rider places their feet. The rider controls the speed by leaning forwards or backwards, and direction of travel by twisting the pads capable of achieving speeds from 6 to 15 miles per hour (9.7 to 24 km/h) with a range of up to 15 miles (24 km) dependent on model, terrain, rider weight and other factorsโ€ฆ.
