Join myself Martyn and Charlotte as we turn into proper train geeks and go and ride the Wuppertal Schwebebahn, the worlds oldest operating suspended railway

The Schwebebahn opened way back in 1901 making it 120yrs old this year and wow, what an engineering masterpiece this thing is, I’ve wanted to “ride it like a bad boy” since I first found out about it some years ago and it didn’t disappoint

There is only the 1 one line but has 20 stations along the way, the Schwebebahn gets around 80,000 passengers a day which is incredible and has had some updates in the 120yrs including these super modern trains which were added in 2016

All footage was filmed in 2.7k 50fps using a GoPro Hero 9 Black with official accessories
