10 The transit elevated bus
The Chinese are always putting the rest of the world to share with their technological miracles, while most western countries waste their time dreaming up outlandish plans for futuristic automobiles. China went ahead and created one for real, and it turned out to be rather lovely in a matter of months. The transit elevated bus is a 73-foot-long, 27-foot-wide bus capable of transporting up to 300 passengers at a time, but what made it stand out was that it was elevated 16 feet in the air, which means there is enough room beneath the bus for several lanes of traffic to continue to use the road.
