Through my artwork, I want to show that there will still be greenery even though it is a futuristic world.
In the future, technology will be so advanced that many things will evolve. For instance, we will have Vita Air, short for vitamin air. Vita Air is a face mask that will enable us to extract vitamins from the air and breath them in.
Besides Vita Air, there will be Sky trek – a ‘rail less’ transportation system like our MRT system today – just without any railings.
Other than those, the teleport technology allows us to travel anywhere in the world, simply by keying in our destination of choice.
The virtual pad, like our tablets today, will be able to display virtual windows to help us multitask easily.
For self transportation, we will own our own vehicles that we can use to fly around. At the click of a button, turbines will be summoned to pick up our cars and we will get from place to place by flying around in them. An example is the purple and red car in the artwork.
We will also have robots providing medical aid to anyone during any emergency and police in jet packs roaming around the city to provide security and maintain a safe world.
Most importantly, my artwork shows that the new futuristic world remains colourful, emphasizing on natural greenery.
