In the previous video “BIG TIRES on Hoverboard WHEELS – Easy way – SEGABOT#3 – https://youtu.be/oUuCi9lp9IE ” I presented my unconventional and easy method of putting big tires on 6.5 inch hoverboard wheels.
I used 4.10 / 3.50 – 5 tires – normally used for agricultural machinery. These tires are slightly smaller than the hoverboard wheel and for this reason it is quite difficult to assamble without proper presses. In this video “New TRICKS to put BIG TIRES on Hoverboard WHEELS”, I want to show you the method I used when I can’t press a tire. This method can destroy the tire if it is not executed carefully because it involves grinding the inside of the tire to become a little bigger and thus get easier to assamble on the hoverboard wheel. I resorted to this method because I do not have a press and the last pair of wheels I made was very difficult to assamble the tire, especially the second part. I avoided using this invasive method as much as possible but I injured my hands by pressing on the tire. It would preferably be a suitable press.
