Does your Hoverboard Self Balancing Scooter have a rubbing sound comming from the wheel or wheels?
In this video I’m going to show you how to diagnose this problem as well as how to fix this problem.
With many hoverboards with the rim guards on top of the wheel wells the guard is not just a sticker on top of the board but is actually a plastic piece that is held onto the wheel well with a rivet going inside the wheel well. They glue this to hold it in place and the wheel actually winds up rubbing against the glue and plastic piece.
You can fix this by either riding it down until it rubs away or you can take a screw driver and pop that piece of plastic out. You may need to glue the guard back down with gorilla glue
