The class of cruiser bicycles has a good deal of admirers and there are several reasons why this type of two-wheelers are bought on regular basis: step-through frames for the ease of use, large handlebars and cushioned seats for the comfort of the ride, and, of course, the variety of design and styling options (as well as amazing accessories like grocery racks, fenders and saddlebags) that could be applied to these bicycles in order to fit your lifestyle and express your tastes.
It’s a commonly known fact that cruiser bikes are equipped with a single-speed drivetrains and are meant for low-speed, laid back riding around the block or to the nearest beach. However, today (it can be observed in the 2022 model year products) manufacturers are modernizing the notion of cruisers: they start using modern materials, such as carbon fiber frames, add smart gadgets for easy navigation and access to high tech features, the also equip them with powerful electric motors and multi-gear pedal assist systems, thus making them suitable for riding at higher speeds and suitable for longer range city commuting, going grocery shopping or as a replacement for urban commuting vehicles.
