Ethan got ahold of a new hoverboard that has some extra large wheels with two very powerful motors (350w). The Gyroor Y1 Pro is touted as an “off road” hoverboard in that it can handle bumps and paths better then most other options. This one is so beefy that even Papa rode around on it without any problems! After a little practice, Ethan was able to bring this up to it’s top speed close to 10 MPH and even tested crossing a grassy swale. It’s got some really cool lighting as well and an app that allows you to control the various features of the unit. We plan to bring it to the park for the ultimate test on the preserve trails soon!
