Elon Musk Promises ‘Dedicated robotaxi’ with Futuristic Look from Tesla. Elon Musk made the Comments at the opening of Tesla’s $1.1 Billion Giga Factory in Texas. “Massive scale. Full self-driving. There’s going to be a Dedicated Robotaxi,” Musk told a Large crowd at the Giga Factory. Musk said, Tesla Would Unveil the New Robotaxi in 2023 and that it would Achieve the “Lowest — Fully considered — Cost-per-mile, cost-per-kilometer, Accounting everything. Tesla will start production next year of its Cybertruck as well as a humanoid robot, Optimus, Musk said.
