HEADS UP TO NEW PATRONS – See bottom of description

Saturdays in May, 2022, I’ll be publishing documentaries on the Collins Line, established in the 1840’s to compete with Cunard, but driven into the ground by excessive government intervention on the eve of the American Civil War. The Collins Line was the work of a passionate man named Edward Collins and the ships were the work of the talented maritime architect George Steers.

May 7th – History of the Collins Line
May 14th – The Collins Line Fleet
May 21st – The Wreck of the SS Arctic
May 28th – The Disappearance of the SS Pacific

I may do additional videos on the line, but these are the ones currently in store!

I’ve long wanted to do a follow up to my popular “History” and “Fleet” videos of the White Star Line, and this series is six months in the making, featuring detailed and accurate CGI of the ships and sinkings, rare images from my personal collection that might not be online anywhere, and even period musical pieces about the Collins Liners that have never been recorded before.

Special thanks to Liam Sharpe for his excellent work on these animations and Tess and J Kent Layton for their hard work arranging the historical music.

HEADS UP TO NEW PATRONS: I’m traveling on a business trip for 4 weeks during the publication of this series. The videos in the series are already finished, uploaded, and scheduled for publication and give shoutouts to my Patrons as of May 6th, 2022. If you join up after this date, I’ll be giving you your shoutouts in videos after I return from the trip in June.
