On May 8, FerMube, Walkabout Rojo, and iChongqing live-streamed together to talk about China’s Green Transportation.
The world is facing serve challenges of climate change and energy structure imbalance. Many countries and regions are putting effort into building a greener society, including China.
As a developing country, China not only just pledged to the Paris Agreement, made a commitment to peak its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions before 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions before 2060.
But also, more importantly, this was quoted from President Xi Jinping, “China attaches high importance to addressing climate change is not at others’ request but on China’s own initiative. It
is what China needs to do to achieve sustainable development at home, as well as to fulfill its due obligation to build a community with a shared future for mankind. “
Therefore, today what we are going to discuss are some real examples of how this country is implementing policies to promote green transportation, and how people benefit from them.
Thence, we could further expect what to improve in this field in China. Because we believe this topic is deeply related to everyone’s life, China’s action does infect how we shape our world more sustainable.
