What happens when you’re such a nature lover and enjoy traveling that you require a vehicle that can function as a bike, boat, and tiny house all in one? So you get BeTriton, a strange and amazing gadget. Everything I indicated above is included: an electric pedal-assist e-trike, a boat, and a compact house. BeTriton’s existence is centered on three things: the boat, the camp, and the trike.

Indeed, it takes a genius mind to come up with such an idea, much alone make it a reality. BeTriton’s founder and CEO, Aigars Lauzis, is the man behind the machine. After six years in London, Latvian-born Aigars decided to embark on a bike expedition across Eurasia.
He then embarked on a 30,000-kilometer, four-year cycling journey—an adventure that would make any cycle touring fanatic green with envy. Aigars worked as a designer in Istanbul, Dubai, Singapore, and Shanghai over the course of four years.
Aigars had the wonderful notion while in Shanghai: to build the ideal cycle-touring contraption for the die-hard outdoor aficionado. The end result was an odd cross between a tent, a boat, and a tricycle, which was tested in a local city park.
In 2022, the BeTriton is a reality, and it’s quite likely the most hipster, futuristic recreational vehicle on the market. BeTriton takes pride in its core values of innovation, sustainability, fun, and ethics, and this amphibious camper trike clearly meets all of them.
BeTriton claims that the vehicle has enough range for two days of adventure, with 50 kilometers of on-road range and 20 kilometers of water range. Of course, if your appetite for adventure exceeds 70 amphibious kilometers, you can always pedal and row your way home manually.
The vehicle’s multiple features are listed on the BeTriton website, including the ability to transport two adults over land and water, an electric boat motor with steering from within the cabin, and an electric bicycle motor with pedal assist and a built-in throttle.
BeTriton is powered by a Li-ion battery pack that can get some much-needed energy from the roof-mounted solar panels. The package includes a fold-up kitchen table, built-in cooling and heating, USB charging connections, GPS, and even a music system. The nicest part is that BeTriton includes a pot on the camper’s roof for your favorite plant to accompany you on your trips.
After all of that, you might be asking how much such a fun, adventurous, and unique recreational vehicle costs. BeTriton is already taking preorders for the token sum of 100 Euros on its website. BeTriton will have a base price of 14,500 Euros when it is ready.
That’s all we have for today; we hope to see you in another video. Please like and share our videos as a token of our gratitude. For the time being, I’ll bid you farewell.
