NEOM
NEOM is otherwise known as the vision of tomorrow. The huge megacity is the very definition of what it means to live in the future. There is no doubt that this smart city will catapult Saudi into being one of the few countries to house technologically advanced living within its borders.

The Neom City can be likened to a living laboratory built on the Red Sea. It is a place where innovation and entrepreneurship guide the way towards a new future.

Estimated to cost a whopping $500 billion, NEOM aims to create an economic hub that covers a wide area of 26,500 square kilometers , extending all along the coastline of the Red Sea and the Aqaba Gulf.

This high tech business city tops the leader board when it comes to the Saudi 2030 vision. It will drive up the kingdom’s economy like never before and will provide a minimum of 380,000 jobs.

KAEC
The Kind Abdullah Economic City is an ambitious program to place Saudi Arabia among the top five competitive investment terminals.

It is nestled between the Scrubby desert and the Red Sea, roughly a 100 kilometer-distance from Jeddah. The new KAEC strives to diversify the country’s oil-based economy by drawing in domestic and foreign investments.

Upon completion, the KAEC is believed to offer schooling, housing, and health services and will provide over provide 1 million jobs for the city’s two million residents.

The master developer of KAEC, Emaar, operates with multiple partners on the project, Saudi Binladin Group, among many other international and local contractors.

Grand Mosque Expansion
The plan is to add 3.000.000 square meters of the area to what will be called The Great Mosque of Mecca, or Masjid al-Haram.

The project, which also falls under the Saudi Vision 2030, is the third significant expansion of the Al-Haram Mosque under the Saudi government.

The massive expansion includes the Main Building of Al-Haram, the construction of new pedestrian tunnels, new courtyards, the Central Services Station, and the Ring road project enwrapping Al-Haram Mosque.

The kingdom has decided to imbibe advanced technology into one of the world’s holiest sites. This includes the construction of refined bridges, transport stations, security facilities, hospitals and many more. Apparently, seventy-eight automatic doors will be constructed on the entire bottom floor of the Great Mosque.

The Great Mosque is the largest mosque on the planet and draws many devotees every year. With the new expansion in place, the mosque can comfortably seat 4 million worshippers at any given time of the day.

Jubail Saudi Arabia
Jubail, located in the Eastern parts of the Arabian Gulf, is home to Saudi Basic Industries Corporation, the kingdom’s fourth-largest petrochemical company. The city’s redevelopment is said to provide more than 100,000 jobs.

An American company, Bechtel Corporation, which specializes in engineering, construction, and project management, was chosen by the Saudi Royal Commission to toil on the strategy and planning of the Industrial City. It took three long years to draft the plan and decide which project to prioritize first.

Loaded with several exciting amenities, this industrial city is sure to take you by surprise.

Riyadh Metro Project
The kingdom’s capital, Riyadh, is set to welcome a new metro system. The Riyadh Metro is regarded as one of the most extensive urban transport assignments globally. The means of rapid transit will consist of six metro lines covering 176 km and over 85 metro stations. The first line was said to be functional by 2021. After completing all the six lines, the driverless metro trains will be able to cater to 400,000 passengers. The metro station will also have an attached bus station to make commuting more manageable and reliable.
