After two long years, the NAMM Show is finally back! NAMM stands for the National Association of Music Merchants, and is one of the world’s largest trade shows for the music business. While this NAMM show was smaller than normal, we did get a chance to check out some amazing things – in particular, Yamaha’s updated design for their CFX 9′ concert grand piano was officially revealed! The original CFX was the result of 20 years of development. As magnificent and successful as this piano was, the newest generation of this world-class concert piano underwent an additional 12 years of R&D, resulting in an already great piano becoming even more magnificent if such a thing can be imagined. Watch the video to check out my visit to NAMM 2022 and to hear my first impressions of the new and improved CFX Concert Grand Piano!
