The Caring Collective, a collaboration between 34 built environment experts and creatives, presents the first ever stage reading of its short play “Fast Forward: The Future of Health and Wellbeing”. Led by the LDN Collective in partnership with Siemens, JLL, Therme, Dar and Perkins & Will, the play was highly commended in last year’s Wolfson Economics Prize, a global competition which sought new ideas for planning and designing the hospital of the future.
Presenting a positive vision of the future, the play weaves together experiences, expertise and creativity based on interviews, workshops and research. It depicts healthy ecosystems, from the home to the high street, and humanistic hospitals liberated by technology – all working seamlessly together.
The session will be the keynote session at the 8th European Healthcare Design Congress, taking place at the Royal College of Physicians in Regents Park, 5pm on Monday 13th June 2022. It will be live streamed and free to view here as part of the London Festival of Architecture, whose theme this year is ‘Act’.
