NEXT Future Transportation is a California-based mass-transportation and goods movement company that is commercializing a patented modular automated electric Pod, and the operating system that will bring its “Transportation-as-a-Service” solution to market at scale.
NEXT’s solution is based on autonomous swarming Pods, which connect and disconnect while in full motion. Once connected, the interior space is shared, similar to a bus or lightrail vehicle. NEXT’s proprietary operating system reassigns passengers or goods from one vehicle to another – based on the final destination.
