India’s first Hyperloop train test track has been successfully completed by IIT Madras, marking a significant milestone in the country’s transportation technology. This groundbreaking project, developed in collaboration with Indian Railways and the startup TuTr, features a 410-meter test track designed to validate and certify Hyperloop technology. The Hyperloop system promises ultra-high-speed travel, with trains operating in vacuum-sealed tubes to reduce air resistance and achieve speeds of up to 1,100 km/h. This innovative project aims to revolutionize travel between cities, starting with the Mumbai-Pune corridor, reducing travel time to just 25 minutes.
