Today I reveal my predictions for Prufrock and why it’s impressive capabilities will make tunnelling both easy & affordable…. Thus enabling a rapid increase in new LOOP projects. I anticipate that by 2027 it will cost just $4,462,000 to build one mile of tunnel thanks in part to Prufrock achieving 166 meters per day.
* Please note that these are just predictions based on my conversations / models and thus indicate the general direction of travel. It might be that I have over-estimated Prufrock’s performance in 2024 but under-estimated for 2026. However what I do know is that my data for 2029 will be very close to reality given the incredible engineering talent currently employed by The Boring Co.
