Hoverboard fires are all over the news and the world with faulty lithium ion batteries are exploding into flames while on the charger and burning down houses and costing people money and life.
here we take a hoverboard battery and recreate a hoverboard battery failure and film it in slow motion with a high speed camera.
Sure enough when shorted out the battery bursts into flames for a whole 5 minutes, enough to burn down a house or a car no problem.
i can’t imagine what these fires are being caused by, a faulty charger or battery or what.
Hoverboard fires and batteries catching on fire and bursting into flames are all over the news right now.
my advice is if you have one of these exploding hoverboards from china charge it outside or away from and flammable material because as you see in this video they are very dangerous.
