Lincoln asked design students to come up with what they think the future of “Quiet Flight” could look like for their brand and well this is the design that won! It was so liked that Lincoln decided to build a full sized version now on display at The Quail in California. The objective of the project was to create a Lincoln from 2040 and this creation is a 4 passenger gran touring car!!!
Coincidentally the car actually resembles the recently revealed Audi Skysphere concept as well as they both are long hooded short cabin slopped roof GT cars with large wheels and open style fenders. This design trend is common as brands are looking back on their products from decades ago where cars were massive and Luxury means big GT coupes. Unfortunately the design won’t really inspire future lincoln’s as the brand already has a new design theme coming in the form of their Zephyr concept!
