An amateur inventor from Australia has created a futuristic hovering motorcycle he hopes will revolutionize transportation. Christopher Malloy modelled the design of the Hoverbike on the Chinook helicopter, building it with a carbon fiber frame and a BMW engine. It has a theoretical hover ceiling of 10,000ft and a range of 92 miles. Potential uses include wildlife viewing and search and rescue work.
