A fresh video from Giga Nevada shows that Tesla has just started a limited production of its Semi truck. Sawyer Merritt, who regularly provides reliable Tesla information online, say “limited” is the key word here because this is not a full mass-production of the Tesla Semi truck.
Tesla Semi truck’s production video and testing on a Giga Nevada track surfaced today online after a source sent it to Merritt, who gave Torque News permission to share this video with our visitors and subscribers.
Merritt says Tesla Semi’s limited production has been independently corroborated by drone footage taken today (Dec 10, 2021) of the Giga Nevada Semi production building, and sent to me. “I’m told that unlike previous Tesla Semi builds spotted, this one did not have any department of transportation stickers or manufacturer plates,” he wrote on his Youtube channel.
On December 4 we reported that Tesla Semi Megacharger station at PepsiCo’s (and FritoLay’s) Modesto facility is now under construction potentially indicating Pepsi will soon receive their first Tesla Semi deliveries!
I believe this news corresponds well with today’s video news of Tesla Semi limited production. I believe these limited Tesla Semi trucks will go to Pepsi, which will test them in real world situations and convey valuable feedback to Tesla.
