Prices will start at £33,735 for V1 trim on 204PS models with the 58kWh battery – the first to be available, with first deliveries expected around March 2022. The V2 model will cost £34,190, and the V3 £37,375. The lower-priced model with the 45kWh battery and 150PS is due to open for order in the first quarter of 2022. The 58kWh 231PS (170kW) e-Boost and 77kWh 231PS (170kW) e-Boost models will be available later in 2022, with pricing yet to be announced.

The Born 58kWh 204PS offers an estimated WLTP electric range of 263 miles, and, with 310Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0-31mph in 2.9 seconds, with 0-62mph taking 7.3 seconds.

The 45kWh 150PS powertrain will be available only in V1 trim. All three trim levels will be available with the 58kWh 204PS model.

Charging the 58kWh battery from 0-100% takes 6 hours 15 minutes using an 11kW AC wall charger. A 5-80% charge using a 120kW DC rapid charger can be done in as little as 35 minutes.

There will be an augmented reality head-up display for V2 and V3 trims, showing key driving information on the windscreen. A range of options are available including three different alloy wheel designs (one 19-inch and two 20-inch options), Dynamic Chassis Control, a heat pump and a panoramic sunroof.
