The K79-S80 Imperial Troop Transport begins with the end of Clone Wars. This Repulsorcraft is technically given the designation of ground assault vehicle, but never excelled in direct combat on its own. This vehicle was perfect for quickly flooding an area with troopers to overwhelm the enemy.
The Trexler 906 Armored Marauder is a variation of the K79-S80 Imperial Troop Transport. This Repulsorcraft focused less on moving troops and instead featured heavier armor and weapons than its cousin. The end result was a fast rugged high powered armored assault vehicle that remained highly effective and efficient. For years after the destruction of the Empire, these Marauders were highly desired due to their durability and combat performance.
