Australia has developed a “personal” electric helicopter Copterpack

Australia has created an alternative to the kerosene-powered jetpack, a twin-engine “personal electric helicopter” that mounts on its back. Despite the external bulkiness, in fact, it is very reliable and easy to manage, as the developers say.

Design: two rotors with a diameter of 90 cm are interconnected by carbon fiber rods. They are fixed on the back with a frame, which also houses several blocks with batteries, two flat armrests and a manual control system.

Due to the small size of the power supply, the helicopter cannot stay in the air for a long time. According to experts, now the helicopter has serious safety problems: in the event of failure of at least one engine, a fall is inevitable, so the flight height should be limited to 15 meters.
