The Belt and Road Initiative, formerly known as One Belt One Road or OBOR for short, is a global infrastructure development strategy adopted by the Chinese government in 2013 to invest in nearly 70 countries and international organizations.
China’s in the middle of a massive boom in manufacturing. The nation has the largest building market in the world, accounting for 20% of all construction investment worldwide. And it is set to grow: China is expected to spend nearly USD 13 trillion on buildings by 2030.
The China construction market covers the growing construction projects in different sectors, like commercial construction, residential construction, industrial construction, infrastructure (transportation construction), and energy and utility construction.
