In this video, we invite you to discover 7 car models that can really fly!

1: The Terrafugia Transition
This car is not in first place by chance. It’s only natural to start with the Terrafugia Transition, as it was the vehicle that showed the world that flying cars were finally going to be a serious ambition. And yes, it was in April 2012, at the International Auto Show in New York, that the Terrafugia revealed its secrets to the general public. To tell the truth, the vehicle had already made its first flight in 2009.

Number 2: The Terrafugia TF-X
This is a second model straight from the Terrafugia company. Aeronautical manufacturers have expressed their expertise in the field even more with a car that looks like a helicopter! What makes us say that? It’s simple: the Terrafugia TF-X takes off vertically thanks to real rotors. This means that there is no need for a long run before taking off, unlike the prototype convertible airplanes.

Number 3: The Pal V liberty
The Pal V Liberty is an aeronautical machine that will really inaugurate the era of flying cars. This both land and air vehicle is manufactured by the company of the same name, Pal V. This company has its origins in the Netherlands, and has been working for 20 years in the hope of building a viable prototype of a flying car. The Pal V Liberty is also the first car launched by the company: it is therefore the fruit of 20 years of research.

Number 4: The Maverick Flying Car
Here is a flying car that really stands out from the previous ones with its design! Developed by the Center for Technology and Education of Indigenous Peoples, this vehicle was not designed for classic use like all the previous ones, but really for its quite practical all-terrain asset. Indeed, the flying car was made to help reach people who are in remote places, where transportation is a real challenge, if not impossible.

Number 5: Aero Mobile
This fifth flying car is truly fascinating, and it’s definitely one of our favorites from this top! The aero Mobile is quite simply a feat of engineering: its designers have succeeded in combining its efficiency with unparalleled beauty and elegance. It is therefore possible to use mobile aero for its practicality with effective aerial capabilities, but also for its style on the road. Either way, you can be sure that the trip will be conducted in one of the most enjoyable ways. If we say that, it’s because the design and style of this car is of the same quality inside and out: even if it only accommodates two passengers, it is renowned for its comfort. undisputed!

Number 6: The Klein Vision Aircar
This model is quite similar to the Aero Mobile in design. It was at the end of October 2020 that Klein Vision, a Slovak start-up, published a video of the Aircar, its truly exceptional flying car. The body of this flying car is made up of four wheels and two seats, while its take-off system is that of an airplane: it needs a runway to take off and land, and therefore cannot take off vertically like some cars in this top. When she’s in car mode, her behind makes her compact and really maneuverable.

Number 7: The Airbus Pop-up
It is with the Airbus Pop-up that we close this video, and this prototype seems more expected for its role as an airplane or drone than for its automotive characteristic! It’s quite normal when you see him deploy his aerial module! Its design is surely the most futuristic of all, at the same time, we did not expect less for a collaboration between Airbus, Audi and Ital design.
