Full Hoverboard Easter Egg Trial in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
A specific trunk containing the Hover Board/Time Trial can be found at the 3-way meeting point of the New Dawn Park, Muddy Grounds, and Garrison territories. You may need complete a series of steps, following a loose trail of footprints with the survivor sense, starting in the Tower Room with the Ham Radio at the Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle on Saint Paul Island. You will find 3 Hoverboards along the way if you can keep on track of the footprints. The final footprints will be right near the location of the Hoverboard Challenge.
The Hoverboard is basically a Paraglider under your feet that can be ridden on the ground. It feels very wonky but can be pretty quick once you get the hang of it. The upgrades for the paraglider transfer over to the hoverboard so it is best if you have a fully upgraded paraglider before attempting this trial.
Grapple hook could be helpful in going even faster and getting the gold meddle (not sure).
