As you probably know, Hoverboard Hub BLDC Motors are design to be slow in speed and high in torque. They are usually configured as a Wye (Y/Star) and this modification enables you to setup your motor as a Delta.
This tutorial is for who is planning to use Hoverboard Hub Motors for customised projects like 1WD, 2WD E-Scooters or even a 4WD E go-Kart where more speed is required. This modification can increase the speed as much as 3 times and can handle almost same torque.
Have a try! Worth it a lot!!
