You can connect a laptop to your mobile by using its Hotspot feature. This will enable you to use your Internet connection on a laptop through a Wi-Fi connection. Follow the steps as shown in this video.
1. First, Tap on the Settings gear icon.
2. Under Wireless & Networks, Tap on More
3. Tap on Personal Hotspot.
4. Tap on Portable WLAN hotspot to turn it ON.
5. Tap on Set up WLAN hotspot, here you will see the name and password of your network.
6. Tap on the Show password check box.
7. Now, go to your laptop.
8. At the bottom right on the taskbar of your laptop screen.
9. Click on the Network globe icon.
10. You will see a list of available networks.
11. Click on the Mobile hotspot network name, and then click on Connect.
12. Enter the network security key which is showing on your mobile.
13. Click on Next.
14. Click on No to disable your PC discoverable in the public place.
