Hoverboard Pack 18650 Extraction

Here’s a video I put together showing how to disassemble a hoverboard battery pack (36V 4.4AH) to extract and clean up the 20 18650 cells contained in it. These packs can be bought on eBay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/201916140363
Note the packs I bought use Samsung IMR18650-22P cells though the current packs are made with Sona cells with slightly lower capacity (4AH). It’s still a good deal at $173/kWH or $164/kWH for the 4.4AH LG packs.
