Phoenix OS is another attempt to bring android to the desktop. It flaunts advanced multitasking capabilities, easy desktop usability, and a full set of daily applications right out of the box. The development team is based in China and, just like Remix, they are utilizing work from the Android X86 Project. They have both ARM and X86 images on their website, the X86 version is advertised to work with 32 and 64-bit processors but as we will find out later that is not the case.
Overall I felt like this operating system definitely needs some work before I would deploy it for full time use. Desktop integration is nice but the stock applications have some kinks that need to be worked out. I could not get the OS to run for 15 minutes without crashing. Remix OS had similar issues but it was not nearly as bad.
The issues I experienced during this video could possible be isolated to my system hardware. Tell me if you guys have had different experience with Phoenix OS in the comments section.
