The 2022 NSW Writing Selective exam has just been completed and has undergone some astonishing changes from previous years. It has become harder to predict but one thing is clear, the format of the question can be misleading and surprising for students who are not prepared.
This year’s exam explored the future in 2099 and asked students to write a diary entry set in that time period. It required students to use their creativity and literary techniques to formulate a strong response in relation to the question. There are some clear ‘tricks’ that were integrated with the question which will be revealed in this video. In this video, John is going to break down what the 2022 NSW Selective Writing exam was for students who were curious about how they went and for students who have yet to do the exam.
