Chengdu Metro Line 9 (Chengdu Metro Line 9) is the ninth subway line in operation in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. The first phase of construction started on December 31, 2016, and the first phase was opened on December 18, 2020. Project (Financial City East Station to Huangtianba Station), the logo color is khaki. Chengdu Metro Line 9 is the first fully automatic and driverless subway line in Chengdu and the first fully automatic and driverless subway line in central and western China.
The first phase of Chengdu Metro Line 9 starts from Huangtianba Station in Qingyang District in the northwest, passes through Wuhou District and Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and ends at Jinjiang District Financial City East Station.
As of December 2020, the first phase of Chengdu Metro Line 9 has a total length of 22.18 kilometers, all of which are underground lines; a total of 13 stations, all of which are underground stations; one vehicle depot in Wuqing Depot and Yuanhua Parking Lot 1 parking lot; trains are 8-car group A-type trains.
As of March 2021, the highest daily passenger volume of Chengdu Metro Line 9 was 237,600 on March 5, 2021.
