क्योटो यूनिवर्सिटी , जापान और काजिमा कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी ने मिलकर एक अंतरिक्ष में रहने योग्य संरचना बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा है। इस कोनिकल संरचना का नाम ‘ग्लास’ है। ग्लास के अंदर बनावटी ग्रेविटेशन, ट्रांस्पोर्ट सिस्टम, पेड़-पौधे और पानी भी उपलब्ध होगी। पृथ्वी पर मौजूद सभी सुविधाओं को अंतरिक्ष में बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। इस संरचना को चांद पर ‘लूनाग्लास’ और मंगल पर ‘मार्सग्लास’ कहा जाएगा। यह एक उल्टा कोन है जो पृथ्वी के रियल ग्रविटेशन के प्रभाव की नकल करते हुए एक सेंट्रीफ्यूगल पुल बनाने के लिए घूमेगा और पृथ्वी जैसी ग्रविटेशन पैदा करेगा। इस ग्लास की उंचाई लगभग 1300 फीट और रेडियस 328 फीट होगी। इसे शुरू होने में तकरीबन 100 साल लग जाएंगे।टीम एक इंटरप्लेनेटरी ट्रांसपोर्टेशन सिस्टम बनाने पर भी काम करेगी। जिसे ‘हेक्साट्रैक’ कहा जाएगा। यह वाहन लंबी दूरी तय करने के दौरान पृथ्वी सतह जैसी ग्रेविटी पैदा करेगी। कम ग्रेविटेशन में सफर करने पर इंसानों को कई प्रकार के परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। ट्रेनों में हेक्सागोनल आकार के कैप्सूल भी होंगे जिन्हें ‘हेक्साकैप्सूल’ कहा जाएगा और बीच में एक मुविंग डिवाइस भी होगी।दो तरह के कैप्सूल बनाए जाएंगे, एक पृथ्वी से चांद पर जाने के लिए और दूसरा पृथ्वी से मंगल पर जाने के लिए। चांद वाले कैप्सूल का रेडियस 15 मीटर होगा, वहीं मंगल पर जाने वाले कैप्सूल का रेडियस 30 मीटर होगा। यह कैप्सूल सफर के दैरान 1G ग्रेविटेशन बरकरार रखेगा।चांद पर मौजूद स्टेशन गेटवे उपग्रह का उपयोग करेगा और इसे चंद्र स्टेशन के रूप में जाना जाएगा, वहीं मंगल पर रेलवे स्टेशन को मंगल स्टेशन कहा जाएगा। यह मंगल ग्रह के उपग्रह फोबोस पर स्थित होगा। मानव अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान केंद्र के मुताबिक पृथ्वी स्टेशन को टेरा स्टेशन कहा जाएगा।
Kyoto University, Japan and Kajima Construction Company have jointly aimed to create a habitable structure in space. The name of this conical structure is ‘Glass’. Artificial gravity, transport system, plants and water will also be available inside the glass. The goal is to make all the facilities on Earth in space. This structure will be called ‘Luna glass’ on the Moon and ‘Mars glass’ on Mars. It is an inverted cone that will rotate to form a centrifugal bridge, mimicking the effect of Earth’s real gravitation and producing Earth-like gravitation. The height of this glass will be about 1300 feet and the radius will be 328 feet. It will take about 100 years to start. The team will also work on building an interplanetary transportation system. Which will be called ‘Hex Track’. This vehicle will create gravity like the Earth’s surface while traveling long distances. Human beings have to face many types of problems while traveling in low gravity. The trains will also have hexagonal shaped capsules called ‘Hexa capsules’ and a moving device in the middle. Two types of capsules will be made, one for going from Earth to the Moon and the other for going from Earth to Mars. The radius of the lunar capsule will be 15 meters, while the radius of the capsule going to Mars will be 30 meters. This capsule will maintain 1G gravity during the journey. The station on the moon will use the Gateway satellite and will be known as Chandra Station, while the railway station on Mars will be called Mars Station. It will be located on the Mars satellite Phobos. According to the Human Space Science Center, the Earth station will be called Terra Station.
