Vans have teamed up with Andrew Reynolds to create a limited edition Skate Classics collection featuring special releases of the Skate Half Cab 92, Skate Old Skool and Skate Sk8-Hi silhouettes.
The Skate Classics Andrew Reynolds collection features timeless brown and navy color combinations which are inspired by workwear textiles including denim, leather, heavy canvas and plaid.
Leading the collection is the always popular Skate Half Cab 92, presented in golden brown suede and heavy canvas with a black tongue. The Skate Old Skool is offered in navy suede with a golden brown leather sidestripe alongside denim inspired stitching. Whilst the Skate Sk8-Hi boasts navy suede overlays on golden brown quarter panels with a contrasting white stitching. All three of the shoes feature black foxing tape and grunge inspired plaid footbeds.
Completely redesigned with skateboarders in mind, the Vans Skate Classics line provides fully revised uppers which incorporate reimagined patterns and an all-new last for a better fit. Moulded heel counters and locked-in tongue straps help to keep your feet secure in order to provide better control. DURACAP underlays take on a new shape to add greater flexibility and to remove excess bulk. Two-part foxing featuring a heavier knurl texture on toe bumpers, as well as Sick Stick, a new proprietary gum rubber compound, increases the durability and longevity of the shoes. PopCush energy-return footbeds snap back and won’t pack out, helping to keep your legs feeling fresher for longer.
The Vans’ Skate Classics Andrew Reynolds Collection will be available to shop from September 1, 2021.
