In this project I will show you how to turn a motor from an obsolete hoverboard into something quite useful. We will be building a hand-cranked generator with it that can charge up a powerbank in emergency situations. Along the way I will show you how such a motor works, how we can modify it and how we can turn its AC output voltage into smooth 5V DC for our powerbank. Let’s get started!
