Not all hoverboards may have the same faults though the most common would be the charger, the battery pack, wiring coming loose and in this case a faulty BMS board.
We reckon people have recycled a complete battery pack or worse a hoverboard because one cell or the BMS board developed a fault which could be an easy and cheap fix.
