All through history humans have imagined a brighter and better future. That
optimistic vision has often been a strangely prescient glimpse of technology as it
eventually happened. Even now, when we imagine some incredible future advances,
likely as not somebody is already working on that in a lab, or in their nerd brain
somewhere in this amazing World. So when we talk about these crazy concepts that
are being cooked up to make human life a bit easier, or more entertaining in the
future, most of them have already landed in our lives in one form or another.
