La Kopi @ Developers Space is a monthly open mic night for the developer community to learn, connect, and be inspired by each other. Every month, a tech theme is selected and developers submit their topics to be shared with the community.

Name: Mashal Riaz (Android Engineer, GudangAda)
Topic: Navigation in Android

We will be exploring the Jetpack Navigation Component and how it makes navigation and deeplinking easier compared to traditional way of navigating in Android.

In the past, navigation had to be handled manually by developers using intents or fragment transitions, creating a lot of inconsistencies between applications. Navigation Component makes the entire process clearer, easier, and more consistent.
