Speaker: Dr. Victoria Scarborough, Ph.D.Vice President of Collaborative Innovationat, The ChemQuest Group, Inc.
Dr. Scarborough is a recognized leader, author, and subject matter expert for the commercialization of emerging technology that leverages open innovation. Dr. Scarborough worked 35 years for The Sherwin-Williams Co. and held multiple positions including R&D Director for the company’s WoodCare Group, Director of New Technology for the Consumer Division and Program Director of the Global External Innovation Team. She successfully initiated many collaborations with multinational companies, research institutes, Federal Labs, and universities for development of advanced technology and holds multiple patents and awards for her work. In addition, she enjoys mentoring startup companies chosen for the National Science Foundation I-Corps Customer Discovery Program for technology commercialization. Currently she serves as the Vice President of Collaborative Innovation for the ChemQuest Group where she assists clients with their strategic innovation and technical scouting needs. Dr. Scarborough holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of TN Health Science Center.
