FIS President Gives His First New Year Message
Snowsports will be taken to the ‘next level’ as a result of ‘groundbreaking proposals’ that are being worked on.
That’s the word from Johan Eliasch in his first New Year Message as the head of the sport’s world governing body.

Experts Raise Alarm About Cracking Antarctic Ice Shelf
A glacier in the western Antarctic is currently holding back enough ice to raise sea levels around the world by more than 3m.
The so-called ‘Doomsday Glacier’ is the size of Florida.
And a new study found its safeguards could collapse in less than a decade.
