Why Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Has a Serious Jetpack Problem

Lego Star Wars: TSS is overall a fun experience, but it has some growing pains. I noticed this most prominently with the lack of a beefed-up jetpack to compensate for the larger hub worlds. In this video, I argue that the two primary reasons why the Lego Star Wars world has yet to demonstrate effective jetpack technology are a) the Lego world has limited material availability, and b) the Lego and non-Lego worlds share the same relevant laws of physics. A pragmatic and scientifically-sound solution is also proposed.

Q: Where’s the minimum studs/buttons/whatever video for The Skywalker Saga?
A: It’s being slowly worked on. I’m kind of waiting for more interesting glitches to be found, though there definitely are a few already. Don’t expect anything anytime soon.

Q: What about mods that buff jetpacks in Lego Star Wars: TSS?
A: These are noncanonical and so provide no insight into the world of the game. But I’m sure PC players appreciate the option.
Q: Do you know how to use a microphone? What’s with all the clipping?
A: I set the gain a bit too high, OK. Won’t happen again, gosh. (Seriously though, that was a big oopsie; I really didn’t feel like re-recording though.)
